Last summer we read 835 books.  That's a lot, but this year Ms. Karen has a challenge for kids in the community...read 1,000 books by the end of summer!  We can do it if everyone helps and we are asking everyone to help! Find out how

Development Check Ups can be scheduled here at the Pawling Free Library on


These check ups are a FREE service to parents, grandparents and care givers with children aged 2 months to 5 years. This service offers another tool with which to measure your child's growth and success. Learn more about this important service.

The Pawling Free Library is looking for volunteers
ages 13 years and older to help with its summer reading program for children ages 3 - 11 years. The program will run from July 5th through August 17th from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. Days and times for volunteer service are flexible. Interested students should contact Ms. Karen at the library. Students may log hours to apply toward their service to the community.

PFL Vacation Programming was packed with fun activities. The children enjoyed themes like Lost in Space, It's a Mystery and A Day at the Races, but the best day was Friday when It's No Fun turned into It's Snow Fun!
