Nancy Drew Visits the Pawling Free Library!

Nancy Drew.JPGNancy Drew a.k.a Ms. Karen visited the Pawling Free Library thanks to Catherine Robohn.  The library was filled with mystery as young detectives gathered on Friday the 13th to find all of the program books missing!  Nancy and her crime solvers used their best thinking skills to identify the culprit, locate the missing books and return them to their correct locations before 5 pm.

Thanks for your great detective work!
Nancy couldn't have done it without you!

Michael Lewis (Author), Dylan Baker (Reader)

Between 2002 and 2008, the world embraced a wave of cheap credit that allowed people to enjoy spoils they usually wouldn't be able to afford. However, when the bubble burst in late 2008, everything came crashing down, including most of Europe. Here, Michael Lewis investigates the causes of the 2008 financial meltdown and projects what awaits the countries that were, and still are, most affected.

Winter Newsletter & Program Guide

This past fall was one of the busiest in the library's history. Not only did we see an increase in circulation, but also in computer usage and program attendance. More of our friends and neighbors were coming in the door than ever before. In part this was due to the weather, and the damage it did to our local infrastructure. We had several first-time patrons, as well as some returning patrons, who were surprised and relieved about the services we provided during the power outage.
